Puget Sound Energy is Washington State's largest and oldest energy utility, serving more than one million electric customers and nearly 750,000 natural gas customers in its 11-county service area in Western Washington. PSE is committed to serving its communities and helping make them better places to live and work by providing safe, reliable, and low-cost energy service.

The region’s energy needs are growing, and energy efficiency is the most cost-effective way to meet customer demand and lower energy use. PSE offers many programs to help customers save energy and money and protect the environment, including residential and commercial rebates on energy-efficient products, direct energy-efficiency upgrades to single family, multi-family, and low-income residences, and personalized advice from PSE’s Energy Advisors and community outreach and education programs. Over the next 20 years, PSE energy-efficiency programs will save customers enough electricity to eliminate the need for two new multimillion dollar power plants.

PSE supports new sources of renewable energy, such as wind and solar power, both increasingly important to a sustainable energy future. PSE is the largest utility owner of wind and solar generating facilities in the Pacific Northwest, producing enough to power 100,000 homes, and the utility’s award-winning Green Power Program allows customers to support the continued development of renewable energy.
